“National Training on drought impacts and risks” was successfully held

The “National Training on drought impacts and risks” in the framework of the Interreg DriDanube project was held on the 28th November 2018 at the Austrian Ministry of Sustainability and Tourism (BMNT).

The event was organised by EODC and TUW’s Remote Sensing Research Group in cooperation with BMNT. The Training was attended by 19 participants representing public and private institutions which discussed several drought related matters in Austria: drought impacts and risks, tools available for drought monitoring, and the national management practices and policies currently in place.
